Job Description
Talent Acquisition and Staffing Coordinator role in Hollywood, FL focused on caregiver recruitment, scheduling, and compliance for Always Best Care Senior Services of Hollywood.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end caregiver recruitment, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for CNAs, HHAs, Companion Caregivers, and LPNs when applicable.
- Build and maintain a robust caregiver pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs.
- Source candidates through Indeed, recruiting platforms, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, job fairs, networking events, and local healthcare organizations and training programs.
- Conduct phone screenings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding activities to ensure candidate fit.
- Promote the agency culture, mission, and growth opportunities to attract top talent.
- Manage daily caregiver schedules and client assignments with accuracy and responsiveness.
- Coordinate staffing coverage for new client admissions and ongoing cases; respond promptly to call-offs and urgent staffing needs.
- Match caregivers to clients based on skills, experience, availability, personality, and client preferences.
- Monitor staffing efficiency, overtime, and coverage levels; participate in rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
- Maintain caregiver personnel files in compliance with Florida regulations and agency standards.
- Track and manage Level II background screenings, CPR certifications, TB screenings, driver documentation, licenses and certifications, and continuing education requirements; monitor expiration dates and renewals.
- Support licensing surveys, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Foster strong relationships with caregivers through regular communication, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Assist with conflict resolution and employee concerns; promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
- Support onboarding paperwork and orientation; update scheduling, recruiting, and HR systems; assist with office operations and client service initiatives as needed.
Position Summary
Oversees the full caregiver lifecycle from sourcing and hiring to scheduling, retention, and compliance management. Serves as the primary point of contact for caregivers and contributes to delivering quality care and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, bilingual, customer-service oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.

- Home care staffing: 1 year minimum (Required)
- Caregiver recruiting: 1 year (Preferred)
