Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
- Support end-to-end recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, offer acceptance, and onboarding coordination.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and assess basic qualifications.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication among candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.
- Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop clear, accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce priorities; provide guidance on labor market trends, interview best practices, and offer structuring to attract, retain, and develop qualified talent.
- Conduct ongoing talent market research to analyze competitive data and market conditions to inform sourcing strategies and talent decisions.
- Source candidates for active requisitions and future pipelines using diverse recruitment methods, including university partnerships, career fairs, networking, and other strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities for new hires.
- Ensure completion of required onboarding documentation and employment eligibility requirements.
- Partner with HR, hiring managers, and department leaders to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field (or equivalent experience). 1 year of education equals 2 years of experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in HRIS software and MS Office Suites.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Required travel to career fairs, college visits, and meetings.

Working Conditions
- Primarily an office environment with frequent computer and telephone use.
- May require periodic travel to career fairs, recruiting events, educational institutions, and company locations.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must not be sensitive to manufacturing noise such as riveting, drilling, machining, or aircraft engines running.
