Join NATIVE WHOLESALE as a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist on site in Jessup, MD. This role supports HR functions across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee records, and HR data management. Fluency in Spanish and strict confidentiality are essential. The position offers a salary range of $48,000 to $62,500 per year, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the recruiting cycle, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Process background checks and drug screening.
- Provide support and oversight for onboarding activities.
- Support payroll processing and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Generate and deliver requested reports and documents to management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems and files.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Manage workers' compensation claims.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience with a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices; prior recruiting experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience working with HR systems is preferred.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of recruiting processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgement and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
