Job Description

This contract recruiter role with Sparks Group is fully remote and supports a government contracting client. The position centers on full lifecycle recruiting, including cleared positions, with potential for contract-to-hire. Responsibilities

  • Perform full lifecycle recruiting activities including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination/scheduling, offer negotiation and closing of candidates
  • Source candidates using traditional and non-traditional techniques such as job boards, search engines, social media, cold calling targeted candidates and companies, networking through professional associations, referrals, alumni, and internal mobility
  • Continually evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate, and grow target candidate pools of top talent
  • Work closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, promoting effective and efficient hiring practices using consultative skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Track and record recruiting activities in accordance with business processes and DoL/OFOCP regulations; prepare reports to business leaders as required
  • Represent the client and its values in all interactions with potential internal and external candidates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of related full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Agency recruiting background
  • Experience recruiting for cleared positions
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting high-level security clearances in the DoD and Intelligence community
  • Ability to create large-scale recruiting strategies and cultivate an online presence for attracting talent
  • Proficiency using effective sourcing and research methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting in a high-volume, fast-paced government consulting/contracting environment
  • General understanding of HR practices and DoL/OFCCP Federal compliance
  • Prior experience with Workday Recruiting or a similar Applicant Tracking System
  • Well-developed assessment, negotiation, collaboration, and consultation skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytic skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Government contracting experience
  • Experience recruiting for cleared positions
  • Familiarity with Government Proposal processes
