This contract recruiter role with Sparks Group is fully remote and supports a government contracting client. The position centers on full lifecycle recruiting, including cleared positions, with potential for contract-to-hire. Responsibilities
- Perform full lifecycle recruiting activities including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination/scheduling, offer negotiation and closing of candidates
- Source candidates using traditional and non-traditional techniques such as job boards, search engines, social media, cold calling targeted candidates and companies, networking through professional associations, referrals, alumni, and internal mobility
- Continually evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate, and grow target candidate pools of top talent
- Work closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, promoting effective and efficient hiring practices using consultative skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Track and record recruiting activities in accordance with business processes and DoL/OFOCP regulations; prepare reports to business leaders as required
- Represent the client and its values in all interactions with potential internal and external candidates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of related full life cycle recruiting experience
- Agency recruiting background
- Experience recruiting for cleared positions
- Experience sourcing and recruiting high-level security clearances in the DoD and Intelligence community
- Ability to create large-scale recruiting strategies and cultivate an online presence for attracting talent
- Proficiency using effective sourcing and research methodologies
- Demonstrated experience recruiting in a high-volume, fast-paced government consulting/contracting environment
- General understanding of HR practices and DoL/OFCCP Federal compliance
- Prior experience with Workday Recruiting or a similar Applicant Tracking System
- Well-developed assessment, negotiation, collaboration, and consultation skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytic skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Government contracting experience
- Experience recruiting for cleared positions
- Familiarity with Government Proposal processes
