Job Description
Contract Technical Recruiter at Xometry in Waltham, MA (hybrid) responsible for full-cycle technical recruiting across Technology, Engineering, Product, and Data roles for a 6-month contract with onsite work 3 days per week; salary USD 6,250 - 75,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, from sourcing to presenting offers.
- Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify top candidates via job boards, social platforms, networking, and direct sourcing.
- Lead in-depth interviews to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Apply assessment tools and techniques to validate candidates' qualifications.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
- Provide clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand technical talent needs and offer strategic guidance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans tailored to specific technical roles and teams.
- Stay informed about market trends, align with business priorities, and expand technical talent networks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the broader talent acquisition strategy.
- Deliver regular reports and insights to leadership to support data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate with the broader recruitment team to share knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in corporate or agency environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record managing requisitions across multiple technical disciplines (Technology, Engineering, Product, Data).
- Strong ability to partner proactively with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other social recruiting platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent recruitment projects effectively.
- Experience using job boards, targeted sourcing, and other mechanisms to identify candidates.
- Knowledge of standard HR practices, employment laws, and government compliance regulations affecting recruitment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days a week in the office.
