Contract Trades Recruiter

Connect Search is seeking an on-site Contract Trades Recruiter in Odessa, TX for a 6–8 month assignment to support high-volume hiring for industrial construction projects in the Permian Basin and Southeast New Mexico. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding skilled trades while building robust talent pipelines. This position is bilingual Spanish capable to engage a diverse candidate pool.

What this opportunity offers

On-site, contract-based role in Odessa, with a six to eight month duration, delivering impactful recruitment support for projects across the Permian Basin and Southeast New Mexico. You will collaborate with field operations and hiring managers to fill roles in skilled trades, contributing to the successful execution of large-scale construction programs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit journey electricians, pipefitters, concrete workers, general laborers, and other skilled trades
• Source, screen, interview, and hire high-volume craft talent
• Build talent pipelines for ongoing project needs
• Partner with field operations and hiring managers
• Coordinate onboarding and maintain ATS activity

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting skilled trades, industrial construction, EPC, or oil & gas
• Proven success in high-volume recruiting
• Strong sourcing and networking skills
• Ability to work onsite in Odessa for the duration of the contract
