Corporate Recruiter
Job Description
The Corporate Recruiter will design and execute recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse, qualified talent pool. This role supports hiring through an end-to-end process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, background checks, drug testing, and offer administration.
Role Overview
The Recruiter research, develops, and implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to strengthen the organization’s hiring outcomes. The position manages the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and application screening through selection steps and onboarding support.
Location: Windsor, NJ (onsite)
Compensation: USD 65,000 - 70,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Identifies and applies efficient recruiting methods and strategies aligned to the role, industry standards, and organizational needs
- Manages job posting and advertisement activities
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates, including resume screening, interviews, or other actions based on branch, department, or role process requirements
- Schedules interviews and supports preparation of interview questions and other hiring materials
- Assists with the interview process by attending and conducting interviews with managers, as needed
- Processes background checks, schedules drug tests, collects results, and creates and processes offer letters
- Creates tools and training to support interviewing, selection, and successful hiring
- Collaborates with HR and hiring managers to identify and draft detailed, accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies
- Schedules and hosts New Hire Orientation in the absence of the HR Generalist
- Conducts new hire check-ins via phone or in person
- Supports anniversary and birthday maintenance and recognition, including cards, plaques, posting on the ADP home page, and ordering, preparation, and shipment of service awards
- Participates in college and other job fairs or recruiting events as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation tactics
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies across a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Strong time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with hiring and recruitment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required
- At least two years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred
