Responsibilities

  • Be the primary advocate and professional face of Stride, delivering timely, personalized communications within 24–48 hours and offering a white-glove candidate experience
  • Act as a true partner with clinic leadership to align hiring with clinical caseloads and ensure cultural and clinical fit
  • Continuously audit the candidate journey to remove friction from application through orientation
  • Source talent creatively across job boards, social channels, and professional networks
  • Use the ATS as the trusted source of truth to enhance recruitment workflows
  • Coordinate with local teams to schedule video interviews and arrange second-round onsite evaluations
  • Leverage ATS automation and scheduling tools to reduce administrative burden while preserving a human connection
  • Provide the Director of Talent Acquisition with updates on recruitment needs and pipeline health
  • Consistently represent Stride’s brand across channels, events, and candidate communications
  • Engage in job fairs, conferences, and in-house hiring events to build a talent community
  • Conduct online market research to stay ahead of trends and talent availability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting and onboarding experience; experience in human services or healthcare is preferred
  • Experience using a wide range of talent-sourcing channels and strong computer skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong rapport-building, and excellent time management
  • Positive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to learn and adapt as needs evolve
  • A deep-seated passion for healthcare and supporting individuals with special needs

Working conditions

  • Environment: Primarily home-based with up to 25% travel to venues, colleges, and clinic locations in the Midwest (SD, IA, NE, IL)

Compensation and location

Pay starts at $50,000 per year. This is a hybrid remote role based in Davenport, IA 52807.
