Job Description
Capstone Hospice is seeking a Hospice Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical, administrative, and leadership roles in Peachtree Corners, GA (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for hospice roles including Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Social Workers, Chaplains, and other administrative staff.
- Oversee applicant tracking system workflows and maintain candidate data integrity.
- Design and execute strategies to attract top hospice professionals.
- Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, schools, and community networks.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers.
- Extend offers and guide applicants through pre-employment steps.
- Perform pre-employment screenings.
- Assign onboarding paperwork and verify completion.
- Provide orientation education in collaboration with the Director of Staff Development.
- Coordinate with IT to arrange equipment and email accounts.
- Collaborate with the People Support Generalist to ensure onboarding documents meet state guidelines.
- Monitor licenses, credentials, background checks, and onboarding records.
- Partner with the Chief Clinical Officer to assess staffing and workforce needs.
- Represent the hospice and promote its mission as an ambassador.
- Maintain proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical positions.
- Work with HR, onboarding, and compliance teams to ensure alignment.
- Ensure hiring practices comply with state, federal, and hospice-specific regulations.
- Promote hospice career opportunities and the organization’s culture.
- Represent the organization at job fairs and community events.
- Support employee referral programs and recruitment marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent experience; PHR certification preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of recruiting experience in healthcare or hospice settings.
- Knowledge of clinical hiring requirements and credentialing processes.
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System; Paylocity experience preferred.
- Understanding of Medicare, CMS guidelines, and hospice regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Physical requirements
- Requires frequent collaboration with others, good finger dexterity, and adequate hearing and vision (with or without aids); occasional overtime may be required.
- Office setting with exposure to HVAC systems and overhead lighting.
- Daily computer use including keyboard, monitor, mouse, and phone.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Sitting for 4 to 8 hours per day at a desk.
- Low risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
