Job Description

Join a people-first team supporting day-to-day HR operations onsite in Atlanta. This role is the central point of contact in the warehouse, partnering closely with local operations and warehouse leadership to keep people programs running smoothly while reinforcing a consistent Stord culture. If you enjoy balancing operational needs with employee experience, you will help drive engagement, support managers, and strengthen HR processes in a fast-moving startup environment.

What you will do

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for warehouse HR needs, delivering consistent, reliable support.
  • Partner with management on corrective actions and investigations, including escalations, time and attendance requests, and benefits questions.
  • Produce daily and weekly attendance reports for operations leadership, tracking UPT, PTO, callouts, and overall attendance compliance.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for people programs and core processes to support legal compliance and industry consistency.
  • Advocate for employees by empowering both employees and managers to self-advocate.
  • Analyze people data to spot trends and identify proactive engagement opportunities and solutions.
  • Help enforce people policies with input from the operations team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Maintain a positive culture that balances operational efficiency with supportive people programs.
  • Collaborate with the 1P People team to organize and implement ideas for employee engagement and operational excellence.

Bonus points

  • Experience in a startup environment or similarly dynamic workplace.
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools, such as Workday.
  • Experience conducting employee engagement surveys and implementing action plans.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance procedures, including conducting onsite drug screenings.
  • Background in developing and managing employee engagement activities and programs.
