Job Description

Plant-level HR coordination at the San Bernardino site, onsite, with a salary of USD 60,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates hiring and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manages open enrollment for site benefits.
  • Promotes employee safety, welfare, and wellbeing; conducts safety meetings at the assigned site.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintains positive labor relations by working with two unions and business agents.
  • Supports company policies and procedures in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Handles required paperwork and records; prepares forms and reports as needed.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and dependability.
  • Exhibits strong computer and internet skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Supervises and trains additional HR staff as needed in HRIS and payroll data input and status changes.
  • Produces accurate reports for staffing, safety, and employee training.
  • Maintains data integrity of HRIS data for the location.
  • Manages the workers' compensation return-to-work program for the location.
  • Oversees the interactive process for work restrictions and employee integration.
  • Coordinates monthly employee celebrations.
  • Supports and manages plant-wide employee information through PowerPoint presentations and bulletin boards.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish; ability to read, write, and present in both languages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interaction at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
