Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
The State of South Carolina through the Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks an onsite Human Resources Coordinator in Beaufort County, SC to support onboarding, recruitment, HR programs, and the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding, new employee orientation, and offboarding workflows.
- Complete Form I-9 and related onboarding documentation.
- Manage the hiring process for temporary staff, adjunct faculty, and student work-study positions.
- Arrange on-campus interviews and assist recruitment efforts.
- Administer the college's performance management programs (EPMS and FPMS).
- Coordinate updates to Position Descriptions and oversee Position Control.
- Serve as the primary in-office human resources representative for staff and managers.
- Plan HR events, orientations, and employee engagement activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and innovative practices.

- Bachelor's degree and experience in Human Resources are required.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and Human Resources experience are required.
