Hybrid (Miamisburg, OH) with a full-time, regular schedule

WilmerHale’s Human Resources team is seeking an HR Coordinator to help support the full employee lifecycle and coordinate HR initiatives that improve the employee experience. In this hybrid role, you’ll contribute to onboarding and orientation, talent acquisition and internship support, recognition programs, and day-to-day HR operations including records compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, coordinating onboarding, recruiting support, internship programs, leave administration, recognition initiatives, wellness programs, and HR operations.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts by maintaining employee records and compliance processes, and contribute to performance management and compensation-related activities.
  • Coordinate and help lead New Hire Orientation, including content planning, speakers, schedules, and new hire and benefits paperwork and materials.
  • Partner with other HR coordinators to help ensure program consistency across all U.S. offices.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the online onboarding application for new hires.
  • Assist the recruiting team with reference checks, background checks, conference room coordination, and job postings.
  • Support internship program quality by screening candidates, extending employment offers, educating students about WilmerHale, coordinating monthly events, staying in close contact with academic advisors, and helping ensure a meaningful end-to-end student experience.
  • Help manage firm-wide recognition programs by monitoring, tracking, reviewing, and generating staff awards.
  • Assist with performance management and compensation activities, including reviewing draft evaluations, supporting market pricing of positions, and contributing to memo creation and review.
  • Complete all required data entry, including personal data changes, job changes, and leave information updates.
  • Maintain HR records compliance expertise, with focus on record retention and destruction.
  • Maintain personnel and recruiting files to ensure complete accuracy and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of minimum experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
