Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations under the Chief Resources Director, handling onboarding, compensation, benefits, leave administration, and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety training, anti harassment training, and professional certifications
- Upload all information electronically into employee personnel files on Paycom
- Prepare, schedule, and oversee orientation, onboarding, and training for all new hires
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified applicants; collaborate with leadership to identify required skills and competencies
- Conduct or obtain background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs in partnership with the Employee Engagement Committee
- Execute routine HR program tasks including compensation, benefits, and leave administration
- Manage disciplinary matters in partnership with the Chief Resources Director
- Handle disputes and investigations in partnership with the Chief Resources Director
- Support performance and talent management processes
- Support productivity, recognition, and morale initiatives
- Oversee occupational health and safety matters
- Coordinate training and development activities
- Respond to employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, directing complex or sensitive issues to appropriate staff
- Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and review policies to ensure ongoing compliance
- Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law
- Perform other duties as assigned
