Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to attract top talent.
- Design and manage orientation, performance management cycles, and employee evaluations to support ongoing development.
- Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, and workers' compensation claims with accuracy and legal compliance.
- Support change management initiatives through organizational design, succession planning, and HR projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and HR standards via careful data collection and documentation.
- Handle employee relations by mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and cultivating a positive work environment.
- Utilize HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for data entry, analytics reporting (Excel), and maintaining accurate personnel records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management within a fast-paced environment; prior HR department experience is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management including recruitment (ATS such as iCIMS or Lever), training and development, and performance management systems.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management, affirmative action planning, and regulatory compliance management.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Paychex, or Dayforce for payroll processing and HR data administration.
- Excellent communication skills paired with project management abilities to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
- Experience handling benefits administration tasks including FMLA administration and workers' compensation claims processing.
- Ability to analyze data using Excel or similar tools for workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
