Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Onsite opportunity in Homestead, FL with AST SpaceMobile offering a hands-on Human Resources Generalist role that supports employees and leaders across South Florida locations. In a manufacturing and operations environment, you will contribute to employee relations, onboarding, performance management, compliance, safety initiatives, and policy administration, helping shape a productive and compliant workplace.
Collaborate with site leadership to address people-related needs across multiple locations, influence workforce planning and development programs, and contribute to safety and policy audits. This role provides broad exposure to HR across a dynamic, environment-focused operation and the chance to make an impact on culture and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to support employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience and regulatory compliance.
- Support performance management, employee development, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement and retention programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and applicable labor requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within HRIS systems.
- Support OSHA compliance, workplace safety training, incident reporting, injury management, and corrective action plans.
- Participate in HR, labor, and safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Assist with leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work programs.
- Support compensation and benefits administration as needed.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Travel between locations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, aerospace, industrial, or other operational environments.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout manufacturing, warehouse, and operational facilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by phone
- Occasional ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds
- Ability to participate in facility inspections, safety audits, and operational walk-throughs
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed to support operations and employee needs
