Job Description
Based in De Soto, Kansas, Hillside Village of De Soto seeks a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to guide HR initiatives, cultivate a positive workplace culture, and support organizational success. The role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance to align people strategies with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive human capital management strategies that support organizational growth and optimize the workforce.
- Oversee talent acquisition activities, including recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding to attract top talent.
- Lead onboarding, orientation, performance evaluations, training and development initiatives, and succession planning to sustain growth.
- Administer benefits programs, workers' compensation, and payroll systems using platforms such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, affirmative action planning, and related legal requirements.
- Foster positive employee relations by managing conflict resolution, investigations, and promoting a constructive workplace culture.
- Apply project management skills to drive organizational design, change management initiatives, and HRIS data collection and analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a solid foundation in human capital management principles.
- Knowledge of employment and labor law regulations, including OSHA and FMLA compliance standards.
- Expertise in talent acquisition strategies, recruiting techniques, and ATS platforms such as iCIMS or Taleo.
- Demonstrated ability in employee evaluations, performance management systems, training and development programs, and succession planning.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft; experience with Workday or Dayforce is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with effective conflict management to foster positive employee relations.
- Knowledge of benefits administration processes, including workers' compensation claims and payroll systems like Paychex or ADP.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to data entry and data collection activities.
- Organizational design expertise coupled with strategic planning capabilities to support workforce initiatives.
