Job Description

Pacific Provisions Hawaii invites you to join us as a Human Resources Manager in Kapolei, onsite on Oahu. This benefits-forward role pairs strategic leadership with hands-on HR operations, offering a competitive salary of $80,000 to $95,000 per year. You will partner with executives to shape culture, boost employee engagement, and steward people programs for a local Kapolei-based company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Advise on employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Help shape the company culture and support initiatives that drive engagement and retention.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop programs that foster employee growth, leadership development, and career advancement.
  • Support managers in coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers.
  • Lead investigations and resolution efforts for employee relations matters.
  • Champion a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinate recognition, wellness, and engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage benefit programs and annual open enrollment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and HR reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee programs.
  • Support organizational growth through strategic projects and operational improvements.
  • Leverage data and employee feedback to enhance the employee experience.

Requirements

  • Five years or more of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, investigations, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
