Onsite opportunity in Chico, CA with Victor Community Support Services offers an HR leadership role with a comprehensive benefits package. This position carries a salary range of $74,984 - $103,116 per year, requires a bachelor's degree in HR or a master's degree in HR, and a minimum of four years of direct HR experience. The Site-level Human Resources Manager provides day-to-day HR support, serves as the first point of contact for employees, and supports onboarding, training, leave administration, and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Support onboarding for new hires, including processing paperwork for hires, terminations, and other status changes within required timeframes as needed.
- Provide day-to-day HR support across areas such as compensation, performance management, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, employee records, data analytics, legal compliance (state and federal), and policy interpretation and application.
- Design and deliver HR related training based on business needs.
- Serve as leave administrator for all leaves of absence at assigned site(s), including counseling managers and employees, handling paperwork, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining leave tracking.
- Collaborate with the Senior HRM to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and partner with management to resolve performance concerns.
- Administer and communicate about the workers’ compensation process.
- Work with management to appropriately address performance management issues, including coaching, consulting, and providing guidance as needed.
- Provide relevant HR data and reports to the business as required.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or Masters’ degree in HR if the bachelor’s is not in HR.
- Minimum of four years of direct HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Working knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in CA leave administration, training and employee development programs, employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Ability to handle priority and sensitive issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong internal and external customer service orientation with a track record of delivering results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Compensation
Pay range: $74,984 - $103,116 annually
