Job Description

Advantek Americas, LLC. is looking for a Site Human Resources leader who can help build a high-performing, engaged workforce at our Eau Claire, WI location. This in-person role combines strategic HR support with hands-on day-to-day partnership with plant leadership, spanning recruiting, performance, compliance, training, and culture.

What you’ll do

  • Lead all site Human Resources activities and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational development as a member of the site leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics, providing recommendations and insights to leadership.
  • Manage end-to-end recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including developing recruiting strategies and coordinating interviews and selection processes.
  • Build relationships with technical schools, colleges, and community organizations to support talent attraction.
  • Improve onboarding and new employee orientation, and serve as the primary contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
  • Coach managers on employee performance, documentation, and corrective action; conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Support manager and leader development through coaching on employee development and the annual performance review process.
  • Help resolve conflict while maintaining consistency and fairness, and assist with succession planning and identifying high-potential employees.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and develop leadership training for supervisors and managers; track required compliance training.
  • Administer compensation programs, including wage benchmarking and market analysis, and support annual merit review processes.
  • Support benefits questions and coordinate open enrollment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain personnel records, HR policies, and procedures.
  • Support OSHA and workplace safety initiatives from an HR perspective.
  • Coordinate unemployment claims and employment verifications.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, employee events and wellness activities, engagement surveys, and improvement plans.
  • Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain HRIS data (such as UKG Pro), generate HR reports and workforce metrics, and track turnover, absenteeism, recruiting metrics, and training completion.
  • Maintain confidentiality for all employee records.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred); equivalent HR experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience leading HR functions at a site or business unit preferred.
  • Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing employees.
  • Experience with employee investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong coaching and conflict resolution abilities, with the ability to build trust across all levels.
  • Experience with performance management systems, strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • HRIS experience, preferably UKG Pro, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation and benefits

Pay: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
