Job Description

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner to steer strategic recruitment across the full hiring lifecycle from an onsite role in California. This position collaborates with designated client groups to manage a diverse slate of openings, leveraging proactive sourcing, rigorous screening, and negotiation, while guiding hiring managers and leaders and tracking key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes inclusive hiring, brand amplification, and data-driven decision making to strengthen the organization’s talent pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Apply cutting-edge sourcing methods to locate and engage both active applicants and passive talent.
  • Evaluate applicants for technical proficiency, cultural alignment, and leadership potential, and offer strategic recommendations on selections.
  • Coach junior recruiters in sophisticated sourcing and screening approaches.
  • Present a compelling opportunity by aligning the role with the candidate's motivations.
  • Maintain an inclusive, fair process that yields a positive candidate experience.
  • Act as a GE Vernova brand ambassador, promoting content on social channels to strengthen the GEV talent brand.
  • Establish GE Vernova's presence in strategic channels to craft candidate engagement plans and pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Use recruitment metrics and market intelligence to refine strategies, delivering actionable process improvements and guiding stakeholders amid trend shifts and talent availability.
  • Oversee and advise on end-to-end recruitment across roles with varying complexity, sharing insights with hiring managers and leaders.
  • Steer complex offer negotiations and counsel stakeholders on compensation benchmarks.
  • Maintain candidate and requisition lifecycles in the ATS with precision and timeliness to ensure data integrity for reporting.
  • Incorporate Lean principles into daily work to streamline processes, monitor KPIs, and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to projects and adopt best practices in routine operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • More than five years of experience in recruitment with proven skills in sourcing, screening, handling complex offers, and advising stakeholders.
  • Over two years of consultative recruitment experience within the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy industries, or other highly regulated, technical sectors.
  • Over two years of experience recruiting niche roles in the Quebec market.
  • Fluent in French.
