Life Sciences / Pharma Contract Recruiter - Talent Acquisition
Job Description
Impact Bio is seeking motivated, self-directed Contract Recruiters to support its Talent Acquisition Department. In this onsite role based in Pittsburgh, PA, you will partner closely with client hiring managers to run full-cycle recruitment for Life Sciences opportunities, covering direct hire and contracted positions.
The position focuses on building reliable pipelines, advancing candidates through structured evaluation, and coordinating scheduling to keep projects on track for both clients and ImpactBio leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver strong customer service to Hiring Managers and Candidates throughout the recruiting process
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, telephone interviewing, providing written assessments, and scheduling candidates
- Meet or exceed all recruiting deadlines
- Proactively source talent using a broad set of channels
- Manage one or more requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Provide timely updates to ImpactBio Leadership, Hiring Managers, and Candidates
- Maintain required records and produce timely reporting to Clients and ImpactBio Leadership
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the Life Sciences industry
- Experience recruiting in the Pharmaceutical or BioTech industry is highly desired
- Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is required
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other venues for sourcing and networking
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong telephone skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and technology
- A strong network of industry contacts is a must
Purpose and How Success Is Measured
- ImpactBio is adding Contract Recruiters to strengthen its Talent Acquisition capabilities
- The role is designed to support client partnerships by leveraging a broad talent network and full-cycle Life Sciences recruiting experience
- You will work with hiring managers to define current and future recruitment needs and develop plans to achieve project timelines
- Pipeline creation will involve searching job boards, leveraging internet resources, and networking
- Responsibilities include reviewing resumes, pre-screening and interviewing candidates, and sharing feedback through ImpactBio processes and systems
- You will coordinate interview locations and assist with scheduling and interview preparation alongside the hiring manager
