People Operations Partner

Onsite People Operations Partner at Delta Faucet Company’s distribution facility in Troutman, NC, serves as the human resources partner for the hourly workforce to advance talent strategies, employee experience, and operational excellence across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the hourly talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for all hourly roles; collaborates with department supervisors to define required skills and competencies for openings.
• Fosters a positive and inclusive employee experience by guiding the development and execution of site communication, engagement, and retention initiatives, along with community involvement activities.
• Manages onboarding, performance, and training activities for hourly staff; administers service awards and recognition programs; handles job changes and separations.
• Ensures consistent application and execution of HR programs and processes across the site.
• Maintains accurate HRIS records for career movements and lifecycle changes.
• Investigates and advises site leadership on employee relations matters; proactively implements measures to minimize issues and serves as an escalation point for such concerns.
• Supports and applies lean manufacturing programs and related actions.
• Maintains records and compliance for remote and hybrid employees in North Carolina, including local wage ordinances, sick time, break requirements, and home office reimbursements.
• Demonstrates dedication and flexibility to support employees across three shifts and multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10 percent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of North Carolina labor laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations and hourly employee populations.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to maintain structure in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS and communication platforms is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to influence and coach leaders to drive positive employee outcomes.

Location and Compensation

Location: Troutman, North Carolina, onsite. Employment type: Full-time on Shift 1.

Salary: USD 65,900 to 103,400 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, and skills.
