Job Description

Raytheon is hiring a Principal Talent Acquisition Recruiter for a remote role based in Phoenix, AZ. In this position, you will lead full life cycle, high-volume recruiting while ensuring each step of the Talent Acquisition process aligns with Raytheon and OFCCP regulations, alongside a strong focus on candidate and hiring team experience.

The recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to define workforce needs, source and evaluate qualified candidates, and use data to refine recruiting outcomes and processes.

What you will do

  • Take accountability for full life cycle recruiting, ensuring all steps in the Talent Acquisition process comply with Raytheon and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) regulations
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly
  • Source, screen, and select qualified candidates through a variety of channels
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Labor Relations, HR, and Total Rewards, to support compliance and alignment
  • Ensure clear communication and follow-through to deliver a consistent, high-quality hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve recruitment outcomes and processes

Minimum qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience with full life cycle recruitment in a Department of Defense (DOD) environment, including Engineering talent with security clearances
  • Experience sourcing hard-to-find engineering professionals across different technical disciplines
  • Experience with the Workday Recruiting platform
  • U.S. Citizenship status required because the position requires access to US-only data systems

Preferred qualifications

  • Demonstrated relationship building, client management and influencing skills
  • Passion for the candidate experience and representing the RTX brand throughout the talent lifecycle
  • Understanding of employment law principles and DOD compliance regulations

Remote work details

  • Remote designation: employees primarily work offsite (from home) and may be expected to travel to the site location as needed
  • Required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories)
  • As part of maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select interview steps in person at one of the office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote

Salary and benefits

Salary range: USD 86,800 - 165,200 per year.
