Job Description

Fayman & Sorbello Food Group is seeking a Recruiter for our onsite facility in Madill, Oklahoma. You will source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates for production, packaging, maintenance, quality, and administrative roles in a fast-paced food processing environment. This role hinges on clear communication, building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and efficiently managing multiple openings in a high-volume setting. Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $30.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package supports your health, retirement, and time off needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening to interviewing and coordinating offers and onboarding decisions.
  • Hire for high-volume production, packaging, sanitation, warehouse, maintenance, and skilled trades roles.
  • Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through job boards, community outreach, referrals, networking, and recruiting events.
  • Partner with hiring managers and supervisors to assess staffing needs and craft effective sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to evaluate qualifications, work history, availability, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate pre-employment steps, including background checks, drug screenings, employment verification, and onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist with new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR systems.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring activity.
  • Support employee retention by helping create a positive candidate and onboarding experience.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Represent the company professionally at job fairs, community events, and recruiting activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred, with emphasis in manufacturing, food processing, warehouse, or industrial settings.
  • Experience managing high-volume hourly recruiting is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of recruiting methods, interviewing techniques, and candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with candidates at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple openings and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and recruiting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
