Job Description
Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is seeking a Recruiter to drive full-cycle hiring across its nationwide offices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to align on current and future talent needs
- Own end-to-end recruiting for a broad range of roles across the organization
- Create and manage a recruiter dashboard of job postings and develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain a proactive talent network for upcoming hiring needs
- Source and engage talent through channels including LinkedIn, professional networks, employee referrals, job boards, colleges, trade schools, and industry events
- Build and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates
- Represent JMT’s culture, values, and career opportunities throughout the candidate experience
- Review resumes and assess candidate qualifications against role requirements
- Conduct screening interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and organizational fit
- Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams
- Conduct reference checks
- Provide hiring managers with insights to support job offer decisions
- Manage the offer approval process and collaborate with leadership to support timely decisions
- Monitor candidates through the hiring process, including background check status and follow-up
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recruiting regulations
- Support talent acquisition initiatives, projects, and process improvements to increase recruiting effectiveness
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience using a web-based Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
- Recruiting experience in engineering, architecture, construction, consulting, or technology industries
- Experience recruiting for technical and hard-to-fill professional roles
Working Conditions
- Work performed in a general office environment
- Work is generally sedentary; occasional standing and walking may be required
- Office conditions include adequate lighting and temperature, with no hazardous or unpleasant conditions from noise, dust, or similar factors
Location: Round Rock, TX (onsite)
