Recruiter - University Talent Acquisition
Job Description
Amazon’s University Talent Acquisition Field Recruiting team is hiring a Recruiter to drive early career talent strategy and manage the full candidate lifecycle, from sourcing and assessment through closing. This is an onsite role that requires being based in Seattle, Nashville, or Arlington, with travel during peak campus recruiting periods.
Role Overview
In this Recruiter position, you will partner with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and other stakeholders to support recruiting strategy for early career talent. You will build scalable sourcing and evaluation approaches, facilitate candidate interview events, and contribute to recruiting processes and operational standards aligned with delivering high-quality customer results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and other stakeholders to develop an early career talent strategy.
- Create recruiting plans that include deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process designed to scale.
- Develop end-to-end sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches.
- Proactively conduct market research to build and maintain a network of potential candidates, including ongoing relationship management.
- Develop recruitment strategies that support Amazon’s long-range growth, and implement new processes and standard operating procedures aligned to Amazon’s mission.
- Provide written plans with deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking processes.
- Facilitate candidate interview events.
- Support special projects and recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of corporate recruiting or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
- Experience implementing end-to-end recruiting strategies, including employer branding and interview process optimization.
- Experience using CTS/ATS for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
- Experience contributing to the creation and implementation of high-quality, high-volume recruiting plans.
- Experience in progressive corporate or search firm recruiting, with a focus on passive engineering candidate generation in a high-tech market.
Location and Travel
- Based in Seattle, Nashville, or Arlington.
- Onsite role; not remote.
- Travel is required during peak campus recruiting times.

Base Salary Range
- USA, TN, Nashville: 50,900.00 - 89,100.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: 80,200.00 - 99,100.00 USD annually
