Job Description

This full-time Recruiting Center Manager role supports candidate placement with client staffing needs across multiple locations. You will oversee recruiting operations, team performance, and day-to-day candidate communication while ensuring timely hiring through coordinated screening, scheduling, and documentation.

Location and Schedule

  • Work location: Sullivan, IL (onsite)
  • Job type: Full-time
  • Work availability: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with overtime at 7:00am or as needed

Compensation

  • Salary: USD 45,000 - 55,000 per year
  • Pay: Competitive pay of $45,000 - $55,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, coach, and develop a team of Call Center Specialists while promoting a culture grounded in trust, accountability, and teamwork
  • Provide performance feedback, hold team members accountable, and address employee relations matters as needed
  • Source, screen, and process candidates for opportunities across 20+ locations
  • Process background screenings and help support timely hiring decisions to meet client staffing needs
  • Proactively engage candidates through outreach and database recruiting efforts
  • Track applicant flow, workforce availability, and evolving hiring priorities across all locations
  • Coordinate recruiting activities to support branch staffing and maintain operational alignment
  • Act as a central communication resource between offices, candidates, and internal teams
  • Manage call, text, and voicemail platforms to support exceptional response times and candidate experiences
  • Coach team members on professional communication and customer service best practices
  • Coordinate and manage interview and appointment schedules for 20+ offices
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the HRIS and other recruiting systems
  • Ensure hiring records, candidate information, and employment documentation are complete and compliant

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Customer service: At least 4 years of customer service experience
  • Skills and working style: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently despite interruptions; able to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Preferred experience: Recruitment, call center operations, or administrative support
  • Scheduling and typing: Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software; average typing skill of 40 WPM
  • Leadership: Prior experience in a leadership role with proven success preferred; 2 years preferred
  • Dependability: Dependable and flexible
