Responsibilities
- Build and manage the hiring pipeline to support growth across trades, office, and leadership roles
- Develop and maintain a consistent candidate flow for Plumbing and HVAC technicians, installers and apprentices, customer service and office professionals, accountants, marketing professionals, and leadership positions
- Prioritize openings that directly affect revenue, capacity, and operational performance
- Create the recruiting process with job postings and outreach templates, screening and interview steps, timelines, and workflows
- Define a sourcing strategy for skilled trades, office roles, and leadership searches
- Implement a simple applicant tracking and reporting system that provides visibility to the General Manager
- Source candidates pro actively through direct outreach, referrals, trade schools, industry relationships, online platforms, community partnerships, and professional networking
- Advise the General Manager on recruiting activity, candidate quality, and hiring risk
- Translate the growth budget into an actionable hiring plan and provide regular pipeline updates
- Identify potential delays before they impact revenue or operations
Requirements
- Experience building or significantly improving a recruiting process
- Ability to work independently and own results
- Experience managing multiple openings simultaneously
- Understanding that recruiting skilled trades requires proactive sourcing and relationship-building
- Ability to tailor approaches for technicians, office professionals, and leadership candidates
- Clear communication with hiring managers and company leadership
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable tracking recruiting activity and results
- Ability to identify hiring risks and propose solutions before positions stay open too long
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment
What you'll own in your first year
- Build and manage the Hiring Pipeline
