Talent Acquisition Specialist

AEGIS CHEMICAL SOLUTIONS LLC is hiring an onsite Talent Acquisition Specialist in Houston, TX to join the Human Resources team. This role helps shape hiring outcomes across a wide range of positions, with a focus on building strong candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. You will also contribute to a consistently positive candidate experience through compliant, accurate recruiting processes and engaging employer brand support.

What you’ll do

• Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Proactively source, engage, and qualify candidates while building pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruiting activity.
• Maintain accurate requisitions and candidate information in the ATS.
• Create compelling, accurate, and compliant job postings.
• Develop sourcing partnerships with universities, technical and trade schools, career fairs, industry organizations, and community partners.
• Help strengthen Aegis’s employer brand while delivering a positive candidate experience.

What you bring

• Previous recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong skills in sourcing, relationship-building, and candidate engagement.
• Experience managing multiple open requisitions and competing priorities.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and online recruiting platforms.
• Paycom Recruiting/ATS experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting in oil & gas, industrial, transportation, manufacturing, or similar environments is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% for recruiting events and company locations.
