Security Company Recruiter & Scheduler

Patrol Security and Guard, Inc. is seeking a Security Company Recruiter & Scheduler to support staffing needs for client sites in Chatsworth, CA through effective recruiting, onboarding coordination, and weekly scheduling. This role helps ensure posts are staffed with qualified security officers by building a reliable candidate pipeline and responding quickly to call-offs and emergency shift changes.

This is an onsite position supporting a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, responsiveness, and consistent communication are key to keeping schedules accurate and coverage uninterrupted.

Role summary

You will recruit and screen applicants, verify required documentation, coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires, and create and maintain weekly security officer schedules. You will also assign officers to client locations based on availability and qualifications, and you will manage rapid coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview security guard applicants
• Post job openings and actively source qualified candidates
• Review applications and conduct phone screenings
• Verify Guard Cards and required employment documentation
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation
• Create and maintain weekly security officer schedules
• Assign officers to client locations based on availability and qualifications
• Quickly fill call-offs, open shifts, and emergency coverage
• Maintain a pool of available and backup security officers
• Communicate schedule changes with officers and supervisors
• Track employee availability, attendance, and time-off requests
• Assist management with staffing needs for new accounts
• Maintain organized employee and recruiting records

Requirements

• 3 years of recruiting experience (required)
• 3 years of scheduling experience (required)
• Recruiting, scheduling, staffing, or security industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls and following up with applicants
• Ability to handle last-minute staffing situations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and professional
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with Indeed or other recruiting platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of the California security industry and Guard Card requirements is a plus

Compensation and schedule

• $19.50 - $22.50 per hour (USD 19 - 22 per hourly)
• 40.0 hours per week
• In person work location
