Senior Recruiter
Job Description
Support full-cycle recruiting for corporate, operations, leadership, and high-volume frontline roles across a multi-state organization in a hybrid/remote Portland, OR contract position.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruiting for corporate, professional, operations, management, leadership, and frontline roles.
- Lead high-volume recruiting for store-level positions including technicians, mechanics, and service advisors across multiple states.
- Partner with hiring managers and field leadership to clarify staffing needs, define target candidate profiles, and build recruiting strategies.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines using job boards, sourcing, networking, direct outreach, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct candidate outreach, phone screens, interviews, and assessments while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Manage candidates through the full process and keep applicant tracking system information accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate interviews and provide timely updates to candidates and hiring teams.
- Act as a recruiting partner and resource for hiring managers, including guidance on interviewing, candidate selection, and consistent recruiting practices.
- Create creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles, especially technician and skilled-trade positions.
- Track recruiting activity and metrics, identify challenges or stalled searches, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Prepare, extend, and negotiate offers in partnership with hiring managers and HR, guiding candidates through acceptance and transition to onboarding.
- Represent the Gill’s Point S brand throughout the candidate experience and build relationships across all levels.
- Support recruiting initiatives, process improvements, and other HR projects as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across a range of positions and levels.
- Experience covering both high-volume/hourly recruiting and professional or management-level searches.
- Proven ability to recruit effectively in a multi-location, fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing skills, including the ability to identify and engage candidates in competitive or hard-to-fill markets.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system; Paylocity experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, field leaders, and HR.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and recruiting pipelines at once.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and move recruiting efforts forward with minimal oversight.
- Strong understanding of compliant and consistent recruiting and interviewing practices.

- Automotive, tire, dealership, retail, skilled-trade, or multi-location recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting automotive technician and mechanic roles, including ASE certifications and flat-rate/flag-hour compensation.
- Experience recruiting Service Advisors, Service Center Managers, District Managers, or other automotive leadership roles.
- Experience with contract or contract-to-hire recruiting.

- Compensation: USD 30–35 per hour.
