Job Description

This onsite role in Seattle, WA sits on Amazon's Global Specialty Recruiting team, focused on the full life cycle recruitment of senior science and related technical talent. You will partner with senior leaders to identify candidates and build strategic talent pipelines. The position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 110,000 to 212,600 and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, family, and long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with research teams and, when needed, conduct direct outreach to identify candidates who enable innovation and scalable growth
  • Design and execute unique search strategies to locate the right leaders for the right roles at the right time
  • Develop innovative approaches to engaging Principal, Director, and VP level science talent
  • Share intelligence on relevant industries and talent pools to strengthen the knowledge base of the team and the broader recruiting community
  • Build science talent networks across technology and education sectors, leveraging industry sources to maintain an evergreen candidate list
  • Own key business and stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance in partnership with executive hiring managers and their teams
  • Conduct informational calls, phone screens, interviews, and reference checks, and actively participate in hiring decisions throughout the candidate life cycle

Requirements

  • 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships
  • Experience recruiting passive candidates who are among the most senior experts in their field
  • 5+ years of progressive corporate, start up, or search firm recruiting with a focus on passive engineering or science candidate generation in high tech markets
