Job Description

Quanta Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to build high-performing civil engineering teams by partnering with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top engineering talent, while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. This onsite role is based in Overland Park, Kansas.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages every stage of the recruitment cycle end-to-end.
  • Partners with department leaders to define precise job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Develops and implements sourcing strategies aligned with the role, industry benchmarks, and organizational needs.
  • Supports job postings and advertising activities.
  • Reviews applications and screens for qualified candidates.
  • Coordinates interviews and prepares interview questions and related materials.
  • Participates in the interview process, conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Guides the offer process in collaboration with the hiring manager and HR staff; suggests salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other terms.
  • Tracks and analyzes recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Represent the organization at college career fairs and recruiting events as needed.
  • Upholds internal standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent field; equivalent work experience or a combination of work and education may be substituted.
  • Minimum of three years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Preferred: recruiting or sourcing experience within a civil engineering organization.
  • Strong LinkedIn recruitment knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven time-management capabilities and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
