Job Description

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking an Onsite, full-time Talent Acquisition Recruiter in Jupiter, FL to help strengthen its hiring pipeline and support a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. Working closely with the Director of Human Resources Talent & Culture and department leadership, you will plan recruiting activities for open roles, source qualified candidates, and support onboarding readiness while continuously improving recruiting strategy and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a productive, efficient working relationship with the peer Talent Acquisition team.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Source candidates using social and professional networking sites, including passive candidate outreach.
  • Develop and maintain networks to identify qualified talent.
  • Maintain regular contact with potential future candidates.
  • Research and recommend new sources and approaches for active and passive recruiting.
  • Schedule regular follow-up meetings with managers to assess recruiting plan effectiveness and implementation.
  • Share ideas to improve recruiting strategies and support strong hiring outcomes.
  • Educate HR team members and operational leads on the latest and/or most effective recruiting modalities.
  • Participate in recruitment events as needed.
  • Act as a process improvement steward to enhance the candidate experience and the hiring manager experience.
  • Provide market and professional expertise in recruitment to HR and operational business partners.
  • Assist with facilitating onboarding and scheduling new hire orientation sessions.
  • Contribute recruiting ideas and support to help JMC exceed organizational goals.
  • Create and cultivate strong relationships with candidates and department leadership.
  • Promote JMC’s culture, value, and brand, including clearly articulating why candidates should choose JMC.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, HR Management, Clinical or related field required or equivalent experience in the field.
  • 1 year recruiting experience required with healthcare experience.
  • 1 year experience with direct sourcing, including cold calling and social media.
  • Experience in high volume recruiting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results while working with all levels of leadership.
  • Ability to use existing tools to efficiently and accurately track, monitor, and communicate recruitment and retention activities.
  • Knowledge of recruitment metrics such as turnover, vacancy rates, and time to fill.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with hiring managers to support an expedient end-to-end experience from job posting through pre-employment/screening and onboarding.
  • Ability to maintain excellent customer service and communication standards at all times.
  • Ability to lead recruiting debriefing sessions with HR team and operational leads.
  • Ability and willingness to work until the job gets done.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, and the ability to stoop, bend, stand, and stretch.
  • Manual dexterity for typing and computer data entry.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions, work independently, make sound decisions, and remain detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 40 lbs., and carry or lift up to 20 lbs.

Threshold Requirements

  • Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, including in-service and health requirements and attendance at new employee orientation.
  • TB/PPD Surveillance Program.
  • Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).

Position Summary: This onsite, full-time role works directly with the Director of Human Resources Talent & Culture in collaboration with department leadership to fill open vacancies.
