Talent Acquisition Specialist position based in Cleveland, TX with hybrid on-site and remote work.

Position Details

  • Location: Cleveland, TX (hybrid)
  • Salary: USD 61,000 - 76,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly positions, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding support
  • Assist with salaried recruiting efforts as needed, including candidate sourcing and interview coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and workforce plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, colleges, trade programs, and workforce development organizations
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend hiring events such as job fairs, open houses, on-site hiring days, and community outreach initiatives in coordination with local HRM
  • Develop and manage social media and digital recruiting campaigns to attract hourly talent across diverse labor markets
  • Travel to various locations to support hiring events and recruitment strategies
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and HR technology to manage workflows and track candidate activity, ensuring accurate documentation of recruiting activity
  • Work independently to prioritize recruiting efforts, manage multiple requisitions, and meet hiring deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and support pre-employment activities including background verification, drug screening, and onboarding coordination
  • Support employer branding initiatives and ensure job postings align with market trends and business needs
  • Maintain compliance with applicable labor laws, hiring regulations, and internal policies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle talent acquisition or recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on high-volume, hourly hiring
  • Proven experience supporting multiple locations and managing competing hiring priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid work environment
  • Proficiency with recruiting technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and other digital tools
  • Experience using social media and online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter) for candidate sourcing and attraction
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% based on business needs

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Hybrid work arrangement: minimum of 2 days per week in office and up to 3 days remote, based on business needs (subject to change)
  • Flexibility in work schedule required to accommodate candidate availability, including non-traditional hours such as early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
  • Travel to various locations required to support hiring events and recruitment initiatives
  • While visiting operational locations, the employee may be required to enter industrial work environments, including railcar repair facilities, and must adhere to all applicable safety policies and protocols
