Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is based in Kernersville, NC on-site and supports Pinnacle Contracting Services, LLC and its sister company Southern Design by attracting, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Work with hiring managers to define staffing needs and draft accurate job descriptions.
• Attend career fairs, school events, and related venues to identify potential candidates; travel frequently between NC and GA.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified talent.
• Post openings and source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other channels.
• Administer Cultural Index surveys for applicants as part of the screening process.
• Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and perform early interviews.
• Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers; provide timely feedback and summaries.
• Support onboarding activities as needed to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.
• Maintain accurate applicant and employee records within HR systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Track recruiting metrics and generate reports when requested.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently between the Triad area of North Carolina and the Atlanta, Georgia area.
• Comfort with spending the majority of time on the road supporting career fairs, hiring events, site visits, and recruiting initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn HRIS, ATS, and other recruiting software.
