Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Belle Aire Creations is growing and needs a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across multiple departments and levels. This onsite role manages full-cycle recruiting in partnership with hiring managers and Human Resources, helping attract qualified candidates while delivering an efficient, professional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, from job opening through accepted offer.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand responsibilities, required qualifications, experience, skills, compensation parameters, and the target candidate profile.
- Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating job descriptions.
- Post and maintain open roles using the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and appropriate recruiting platforms.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, professional networking platforms, referrals, direct outreach, recruiting agencies, career fairs, and other channels.
- Review resumes and applications, then conduct initial phone and virtual screens to assess candidate experience, qualifications, communication skills, compensation expectations, availability, and overall fit.
- Provide hiring managers with clear candidate summaries and recommendations after initial screens.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, leadership, and other interview participants.
- Maintain timely communication with candidates and follow up with hiring managers to collect feedback and determine next steps.
- Keep accurate candidate status and disposition information in the ATS, ensuring candidates move appropriately through recruiting stages.
- Conduct intake discussions for new openings to understand staffing needs and establish recruiting priorities.
- Provide regular updates on pipelines, recruiting activity, challenges, and market conditions, and support hiring managers in evaluating candidates.
- Maintain urgency for priority and difficult-to-fill roles, and recommend alternative sourcing strategies when needed.
- Support consistent recruiting and selection practices across departments and assist external partners as required.
- Coordinate onsite interviews, employment offer preparation in partnership with Human Resources and hiring managers, and required pre-employment documentation and background screening.
- Communicate between offer acceptance and start date, and ensure an organized handoff to Human Resources for onboarding and new-hire processing.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate, employee, and compensation information and keep recruiting documentation in line with company practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruiting agencies, technical programs, community organizations, and other talent sources.
- Support career fairs, recruiting events, employer-branding, and internal recruiting initiatives, including the employee referral program.
- Track recruiting activity (open positions, pipelines, interviews, offers, acceptances, and filled positions) and monitor time-to-fill and other recruiting metrics.
- Monitor recruiting sources and identify recruiting trends, recurring challenges, and opportunities to improve the hiring process.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, Human Resources, or related experience preferred; at least 3 years of experience is required.
- Previous recruiting or talent acquisition experience within the fragrance industry is preferred.
- Preferred experience recruiting across multiple departments, job functions, and levels, and managing multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
- Experience conducting candidate screens and assessing qualifications against position requirements.
- Experience working with an ATS is preferred.
- Experience utilizing multiple recruiting platforms and sourcing methods.
- Preferred experience working with external staffing and recruiting agencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality, including with candidate and compensation information.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional correspondence and recruiting notes in English.
- Ability to conduct phone and virtual interviews and clearly assess and document candidate qualifications.
- Ability to work primarily in an office environment, sit and work at a computer for extended periods, and communicate via telephone, video conference, email, and in person.
- Ability to travel between company locations and attend recruiting events as business needs require.

- Location: Round Lake Park, IL (onsite)

- Salary: USD 75,000 - 90,000 per year
- Reports to: Senior HR Manager
