Job Description
The Coordinator, Human Resources will provide HR support to NBCUniversal’s Corporate Functions HR team and client groups across the organization. This hybrid role in New York supports HR initiatives through administrative coordination, HR system updates, reporting, and employee lifecycle transactions, and reports directly into the VP, HR - Corporate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare job descriptions for open positions and post roles via nbcunicareers.com.
- Facilitate end-to-end new hire onboarding, including processing background checks.
- Process new hires in SAP and complete I-9 verifications.
- Partner with hiring managers to support a smooth new hire experience.
- Own and project manage roll-up reports and requests for Corporate Staff Functions.
- Manage HRIS transactions for employee lifecycle changes in SAP, including hires, personal data updates, compensation, leaves of absence, promotions, and terminations.
- Serve as a primary user for HR systems including SAP, SmartRecruiters, Click Boarding, TimeKeeper, Sterling, and related tools.
- Run recurring and ad hoc reporting and analyze HR metrics across attrition, performance, and diversity.
- Liaise with business partners such as Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Finance to field questions and resolve day-to-day employee issues.
- Assist with annual HR processes including performance review coordination, salary planning, and benefits open enrollment.
- Stay current on new regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to training planning and implementation, succession planning, and compensation planning.
- Respond to routine HR questions, including benefits, payroll, and vacation, and route employees to appropriate contacts when needed.
- Deliver high client service by solving issues and addressing questions from employees and partners.
- Create and maintain employee files and provide administrative HR support.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly ad hoc reports using applicable HR systems such as SAP and Business Warehouse Report.
- Provide assistance across the Corporate Staff Functions team on projects, initiatives, and assignments.
- Use Copilot and other AI-powered tools to streamline administrative processes, analyze data, draft communications, and improve team productivity while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent work experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and follow-through with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and support employees and managers at all levels.
- Experience with HR information systems such as SAP and Business Warehouse Reporting.
- Strong process management and ownership mindset, with demonstrated ability to deliver results.
- Must be willing to work overtime when required.
- Must be willing to travel for work-related business as necessary.

Compensation
USD 55,000 - 65,000 per year.

Work Location and Schedule
New York, NY (hybrid). This position requires contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of four days per week.
