Job Description
Director, Talent Acquisition at Oceans Healthcare based in Plano, TX, leads the talent strategy, directs field recruitment operations, builds a high-performing TA team, and aligns hiring with business goals while elevating candidate experience and employer branding.
Responsibilities
- Crafts and implements a holistic talent acquisition strategy aligned to business goals and field recruitment needs.
- Define KPIs and talent metrics to monitor performance, forecast hiring needs, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Advise senior leadership on market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and talent acquisition innovations.
- Lead and mentor the field recruitment team, establish alignment guidelines for new recruiters, coach underperformers, and design onboarding and training plans.
- Cultivate a high-performance environment with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development.
- Develop scalable recruiting operations, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and candidate experience during growth.
- Optimize ATS, job boards, and recruitment tools to maximize ROI and reduce time-to-fill; implement data integrity, automation, and reporting best practices.
- Provide data-driven insights and regular recruitment performance reports to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition.
- Own and refine end-to-end recruiting processes, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding partnerships.
- Champion a compelling employer value proposition and collaborate with marketing to amplify the employer brand across platforms.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Five or more years directing recruiting teams and measuring performance.
- Eight or more years of recruitment experience, healthcare experience preferred.
- Proven track record delivering recruiting results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build trust with candidates and hiring managers, and navigate challenging managers and organizational politics.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to partner across teams to meet goals.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, including creating presentations in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in advanced reporting and building pivot tables in Excel.
