Division Human Resource Coordinator
Job Description
D.R. Horton is hiring a Division Human Resource Coordinator to support division-level Human Resources operations and act as a liaison between corporate and the division. This onsite role focuses on HR administration, new hire processing, orientation, payroll-related coordination, compensation administration, and ongoing employee support for benefits and HR policies.
Role Overview
The Division Human Resource Coordinator ensures HR processes are completed accurately and in alignment with company requirements. The position supports new hire lifecycle activities, coordinates employee setup with Corporate IT, assists managers with policy awareness, and helps maintain internal HR infrastructure such as the division organizational chart. The role also provides support in payroll review workflows, manages components of worker’s compensation administration, and serves as a point of contact for employee questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all HR regulations.
- Support new hire processing and coordinate new employee set up with Corporate IT.
- Assist managers by communicating relevant company policies tied to management responsibilities.
- Conduct new hire orientation both in person and virtually using Microsoft Teams.
- Assist with division payroll by reviewing, correcting, and obtaining approval of employee timesheets.
- Process salary increases, bonuses, commissions, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Administer the worker’s compensation process for the division.
- Assist with training staff.
- Answer employee questions related to benefits and HR policies.
- Maintain the division organizational chart.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and support company goodwill and profitability.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Travel overnight as required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training (minimum experience listed: 1 years).
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.

Education
