Job Description

On site in Prineville, Oregon with a competitive hourly rate of $21, this Human Resources Administrator role is a hands-on position that supports interviewing, onboarding, office management, and collaboration with the corporate HR team. The role emphasizes maintaining employee files, contributing to employee engagement, and providing essential HR support in a client-facing, operations-focused environment. A diploma or equivalent is required to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person interviews and assist with the candidate selection process
  • Complete all FCS, state, and federal onboarding steps for new hires
  • Order uniforms and supplies for the operational team
  • Coordinate with the operations team on orientation and on-the-job training requirements for new hires
  • Manage the office and fulfill its day-to-day responsibilities
  • Liaise closely with the corporate HR team
  • Manage and report hires, terms, and changes in employment for all assigned employees
  • Maintain and upkeep employee personnel files
  • Assist and drive employee engagement initiatives
  • Travel to client locations to deliver items as needed
  • Maintain state and federal law posters
  • Perform other duties to support the office and the operations team

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent
  • Any HR or office management experience is a plus

  • Ability to organize office systems through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, or folding for proper records development and/or management
  • Occasionally walk around the office to printers, copy and fax machines, and the file room
  • Ability to sit while working at the computer
  • Ability to reach forward to answer the telephone and to use the computer
  • Ability to power grip the telephone, finger press to operate the computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone keypad, and pulp pinch to handle papers
  • Possess speaking skills and hearing ability to interact with customers on the telephone
