Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator role at CME Corp supports recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR compliance documentation, and employee engagement in Warwick, RI, with a hybrid on-site schedule after initial training. The position offers a compensation range of USD 23 to 25 per hour and requires an Associate’s degree with 2 to 3 years of HR coordination or related experience.
Responsibilities
- Post job openings across diverse channels, including job boards, professional associations, and social media
- Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and arrange subsequent interviews with hiring managers and senior leadership
- Track candidates through the full hiring process and ensure proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork
- Manage onboarding, communications, and pre-employment steps such as background checks, DOT physicals, and drug screenings
- Coordinate new hire onboarding workflows in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring timely completion of all steps and documentation
- Prepare onboarding materials and verify accurate completion, tracking, and compliance of required employment paperwork including I-9
- Lead and contribute to new hire orientation sessions covering company policies, benefits overview, and onboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and support audits within ADP Workforce Now and personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor the HR email inbox and respond to employee inquiries promptly and professionally
- Provide front-line HR support on onboarding, policy questions, and HR processes
- Support HR reporting, audits, and recordkeeping, including training documentation and certifications
- Draft and disseminate employee communications and engagement updates
- Coordinate and contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements in alignment with established procedures
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2 to 3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or HR administration with onboarding exposure
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
