Human Resources Coordinator

As the primary point of contact for the HR Solution Center, you will respond to HR inquiries and coordinate key administrative steps across onboarding, HRIS updates, personnel and compliance files, and employee status changes communicated to Payroll.
What you’ll do
- Answer and respond to requests from the HR Solution Center via telephone and email.
- Monitor the HR fax/email inbox and distribute inquiries as appropriate.
- Conduct new hire orientations, including review of company policies, timekeeping requirements, and completion of required forms.
- Process new hire paperwork end to end.
- Communicate employee status changes to the Payroll department.
- Maintain personnel, benefit, and termination files for the HR department.
- Perform HRIS data entry, including address changes, position changes, department changes, and salary changes as required.
- Support candidate screening by facilitating the timely completion of background checks and references with an external vendor.
- Complete periodic reviews by researching updates to breakroom compliance posters and uploading them to electronic folders.
- Partner with recruitment to support the new hire experience.
- Assist with HR project work as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 (one) or more years of related work experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork
- High attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Good planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
