Job Description
Deposition Technology Innovations, LLC is seeking a practical Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of people operations. This on-site role in Jeffersonville, Indiana coordinates the end-to-end HR lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits administration, and compliance, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidential handling of information. The position emphasizes attention to detail, sound judgment, and collaborative problem solving within a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including maintaining postings, updating job descriptions, benchmarking compensation, screening candidates, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, preparing offers, coordinating background checks, drug screenings, and PeopleBest assessments, and keeping recruiting records up to date.
- Coordinate all new hire and separation processes, including onboarding, orientation, employee files, payroll and HRIS setup, benefits enrollment, system access, and termination documentation with accurate paperwork.
- Serve as a primary HR contact for questions on payroll, PTO, benefits, policies, and general HR matters while upholding confidentiality; organize employee recognition programs, appreciation events, and engagement initiatives.
- Support weekly payroll processing by reviewing payroll, processing changes, maintaining personnel records, administering benefits, coordinating enrollments and life events, and handling open enrollment and carrier updates (Gusto, Unum, Aflac); prepare HR reports.
- Maintain employee records, policies, and handbook updates in compliance with federal, state, and local laws; coordinate OSHA reporting, census reporting, audits, document retention, and other compliance activities.
- Administer the quarterly 5-5-5 performance process, including documentation, form distribution, completion tracking, record maintenance, support for annual reviews, and assistance with quarterly profit-sharing administration.
- Coordinate internal and external training, maintain training records, administer TalentLMS and TalentCards, monitor required training completion, and support company-wide learning and development initiatives.
- Maintain employee data within Gusto, Ninety, and other HR systems; update organizational charts; prepare HR reports and metrics; perform routine data entry; ensure accuracy across platforms.
- Assist with EDGE Grants, training grants, R&D tax credit documentation, payroll reporting, and other HR projects while contributing to continuous process improvements.
- Maintain HR filing systems, prepare employee communications and reports, coordinate meetings, order departmental supplies, support special projects, safeguard confidential information, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- High level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new HR systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation
Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year

Education and Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree required; minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
