Human Resources / Training Coordinator
Job Description
Dairy State Bank in Rice Lake, Wisconsin is seeking a Human Resources / Training Coordinator to support onboarding, training development, policy compliance, and employee growth in an onsite banking environment. This role aligns HR activities with daily operations and client service standards, driving continuous improvement across the organization. The position is full-time and onsite, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate organizational skill gaps
- Identify training requirements and design strategies to address them
- Collaborate with department heads to align training with operational needs and client service standards
- Support operational functions including updating training materials, internal procedures, project assistance, and process rollout
- Assist in developing and maintaining training materials, standard operating procedures and policies related to new accounts and account maintenance
- Lead the onboarding journey from orientation to role-specific training, and assist with job postings and candidate screening
- Deliver content effectively to foster classroom and employee engagement
- Ensure policies comply with federal, state and local labor laws and regulations
- Act as the administrator for the bank's compliance and training software
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement among colleagues
- Maintain knowledge of bank products and compliance requirements to ensure consistent policy application
- Analyze and monitor learning needs and goals through feedback, evaluations, and career path planning
- Maintain training and personnel records
- Coach employees and assist in creating performance documentation
- Develop best practices and SOPs for customer interactions to ensure consistency and quality in client-facing roles
- Act as a backup for HR-related duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management, training and development, or related roles with solid knowledge of HR best practices
- Strong project management abilities to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and managing sensitive situations professionally
- Ability to adapt to change management initiatives and contribute to organizational design or strategic planning projects
- Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data collection, benefits administration, and payroll processing using systems
