Job Description
Full-time, on-site People and Culture Coordinator role at Iowa Diabetes, focused on recruiting coordination, onboarding, engagement, events, and administrative support to shape the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee transition.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance across documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee data updates, and HR related reporting.
- Lead employee engagement efforts, recognition programs, wellness activities, and company events.
- Support internal communications and initiatives that strengthen employee connection and engagement.
- Provide administrative support to leadership, including meeting coordination, calendar support, note taking, and special projects.
- Coordinate office needs such as lunches, reservations, and bookings as required.
- Assist with operational and administrative tasks that contribute to organizational efficiency and employee success.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, candidates, and leaders by delivering responsive, professional support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-4 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting coordination, office administration, or related support role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
