Job Description
Griffith Centers supports meaningful work with a People Operations team that helps employees thrive and helps the organization meet its compliance and accreditation expectations. This onsite role in Colorado Springs, CO offers a salary of USD 58,000 to 65,000 per year, along with benefits designed for day-to-day wellbeing and long-term security.

Responsibilities
As the People Operations Manager, you will oversee essential HR operations across the employee lifecycle while supporting a positive employee experience and advancing organizational goals.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and selection.
- Oversee pre-employment and onboarding to ensure legal, regulatory, and organizational compliance.
- Coordinate employee offboarding, including termination of system access and retrieval of company property.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, addressing concerns, providing guidance, and helping resolve workplace issues fairly and effectively.
- Administer employee benefit programs, support annual open enrollment, and resolve complex benefits issues using discretion and sound judgment.
- Facilitate employee training and professional development initiatives that support engagement, growth, and retention.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and records in compliance with organizational, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee training compliance by tracking required certifications, trainings, and professional development activities.
- Administer unemployment and workers’ compensation programs and make recommendations to reduce organizational risk and financial exposure.
- Partner with the Director of People Operations to conduct workplace investigations and resolve complex employee relations matters.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support HR reporting and audits related to compliance as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Paycom HRIS experience preferred
- Knowledge of current HR laws, regulations, trends, and resources
- Familiarity with CDHS Volume 7 rules and regulations preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work an open and flexible schedule to meet staff, client, and program needs, including some holidays, nights, and weekends
- Ability to maintain healthy emotional and physical boundaries in personal and professional relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agency’s clients and staff
