Job Description
This temporary Talent Acquisition leadership role supports full-cycle recruitment for hard-to-fill positions at NBA, with a focus on building scalable strategies, engaging talent pipelines, and maintaining accurate hiring data. The position is primarily onsite in New York with the option to work remotely one day per week.
Role Overview
As a Project Employee, Talent Acquisition Lead, you will own recruiting outcomes across multiple lines of business, from corporate functions to technology and media-related areas. You will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop targeted recruiting approaches that attract high potential talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle recruitment across a range of business lines, including content, partnerships, content and media production, NBA and affiliate league operations, corporate functions, technology, and more.
- Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to design recruitment strategies that are both targeted and scalable.
- Develop and maintain high-quality talent pipelines through ongoing candidate engagement, and conduct thorough evaluations that result in top-tier referrals.
- Manage and engage talent pipelines using Talent Acquisition’s tech stack, while maintaining accurate and high-quality recruitment data.
- Use internal recruitment data and external market intelligence to inform and influence recruitment and hiring decisions.
- Support an efficient, rigorous, inclusive, and compliant recruitment process with an emphasis on talent diversity, candidate experience, and lawful recruiting practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, HR Consulting, and Legal.
- Contribute corporate recruiting best practices and introduce new, innovative ideas as part of a high-functioning Talent Acquisition team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full lifecycle corporate recruitment experience for a global brand.
- Experience leading searches at all levels and across multiple functional areas, including content and media, corporate functions, business operations, and technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships confidently and thoughtfully.
- Strong proficiency using applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter, along with other creative search tools and tactics.
- Deep knowledge of recruiting and interview best practices, including the ability to educate and train business partners on interview models.
- Ability to interface with and influence hiring managers at all levels.
- Experience using internal and external data sources to develop recruitment strategies, support informed business decisions, and deliver strategic updates to business leaders.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Location and Schedule
The work location is the New York office at 645 5th Ave. with an expected schedule of 4 days onsite. There is also an option to work remotely 1 day per week.
Temporary Position Details
This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed 6 months.
Compensation
Salary range is USD 4,300 - 4,800 per yearly, with a bi-weekly rate of $4,300 - $4,800 bi-weekly.
