Job Description
Location: Los Angeles, CA (remote). Salary: USD 85,000 - 90,000 per year. The Recruiter role at California FAIR Plan Association offers a remote-friendly opportunity to lead the full recruitment cycle across Operations, IT, Claims, Underwriting, Human Resources, and Finance. You will partner with hiring managers, source and onboard top talent, and build a network to support the organization’s business needs.
Position Summary
The Recruiter oversees end-to-end recruitment for a diverse slate of roles, from attracting and interviewing candidates to onboarding. This role collaborates with hiring managers, applies effective interviewing techniques, and cultivates a network of qualified talent to meet the company’s staffing requirements across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers across multiple departments to understand hiring needs, design recruitment strategies, and provide regular progress updates.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate engagement, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates through various channels such as online job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Keep applicant tracking systems up to date to ensure accurate candidate pipelines and timely status reporting.
- Track recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, and stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms; BambooHR and ADP are preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Experience sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, online job boards, and other digital platforms.
- Solid understanding of human resources principles, recruitment best practices, and employment laws.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with careful attention to detail and confidentiality.
